Shooting People - Membership Fee Rise!

As of 5th November, the current membership fee of £20 (not increased since the organisation began) will rise to £30, but if you renew today you'll get another year at the old price.

Shooting People was started in 1998 by two filmmakers who wanted to centralise resources to help other filmmakers produce work. Now, with a membership of 27,000 in the UK and NY, they're setting their sights o­n challenging how films are distributed in this country.

Their membership profile is: 50% in London and 50% from all over the UK. They are currently working o­n expanding the Mobile Cinema even further for 2006, will be releasing new volumes of their annual Best v Best DVD (50% of monies goes back to the filmmakers and this years upcoming collection includes four shooters) as well as looking to distribute Shooter features in the future.
