For the third year, Calling the Shots is offering Mini Materpieces. The scheme is being run in partnership with South West Screen, Northern Film and Media, EM Media and North West Vision.

Though Mini Masterpieces, 10 filmmakers from the South West will get a chance to pitch their short film idea to industry professional. From this, two filmmakers will then be selected to develop scripts and finally o­ne filmmaker will get the chance to make their film in less than three days during Brief Encounters Short Film Festival.
