Local filmmakers who are entering their work for this year's Cornwall Film Festival (18th - 20th November) are being offered a fantastic opportunity to realise their potential.  Creative Skills have organised advice surgeries so filmmakers can receive help in perfecting their submissions to the festival. (deadline 16th August 2005). 

Filmmakers are invited to show their film or section of their film for up to 10 minutes. Laura Hardman, Colin Rogers and John McLardy Smith will suggest ways to improve their submission. The session will be confidential so the panel will be the o­nly people to see the film.  Surgeries will run for a total of 30 minutes.

This is a unique opportunity for filmmakers in Cornwall to obtain expert advice o­n their work, and offers a great opportunity to add the finishing touches before they submit their entry.

The o­ne-day course which is being held in the Opie Building of Camborne College next Tuesday (12th July) will run from 10-6pm.
