Imaginative Leap Films in association with Collective Arts and Solstice Productions are looking for crew for a new Cornish feature film, with a current working title of This Womans Work (TWW).
The film is directed by acclaimed Cornish-raised film maker Pat Kelman (“Pat has the Mike Leigh seal of approval” – Mike Leigh 2004). TWW is his second feature. His first, Encounters, is currently on the Festival circuit.
As with his first feature, the film is being created using devising techniques pioneered by directors such as Mike Leigh, Eric Rohmer and Lars Von Trier. Rehearsals with the key cast are already underway.
The film shoots from Monday May 23 – Sunday June 12. Deferred payment contracts are offered, though there is a possibility of paid positions depending on funding. Accommodation can be provided for crew based outside of Cornwall, though preference may be given to applicants based in the County.
This is an excellent opportunity to increase experience working on a challenging project with a motivated, talented and experienced team – in a County with a vibrant, lively and exciting film scene.
Please send applications, accompanied by CVs to twwcrew@film.imaginativeleap.co.uk
