New Internet TV channel: MetaTV Do you have a short-film that you want to promote? MetaTV is a brand new Internet TV channel that has been specifically set up as a resource for aspiring film-makers/directors/producers. It aims to avoid the mass-content trap that sites like YouTube and MySpace fall into by being a much more structured and scheduled channel. one film will be premiered a day, and will be the focus of discussion, so feedback should be specific, focussed and relevant. It also hopes to have a live-chat facility available so that the following day the director can talk openly about the film / answer questions. The service will be an excellent way of networking with others in the industry. We are looking for innovative films and animations from aspiring directors of all ages, backgrounds and artistic styles. Ideally the films should last no longer than 20 minutes, but we would be open to broadcasting longer/feature-length films from time to time.
