Cornish productions gain 10 nominations at the Celtic Film Festival The Celtic Film Festival, which takes place in Falmouth this year, has just announced its awards shortlist. Cornish productions have scooped a total of 10 nominations this year with nominations up overall on the previous year suggesting an increasingly healthy broadcast production environment in the Celtic regions. Some of the Cornish productions nominated include Rick Stein's 'The Teaching Challenge' (Brook Lapping), Awen Production's documentary ' Paper Mountain' and 'A Picture of Cornwall by Kurt Jackson' made by A38 Films. The award winners will be announced during the festival which takes place between 29 and 31 March 2006. |
