More success for filmmaking collective RONG Bristol based comedy writing/directing trio RONG have had their short film 'Oedipus' selected for international competition in the prestigious Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival 2006. This news follows RONG's recent successes at Brief Encounters where they picked up the BBC New Filmmakers Award (again for 'Oedipus') and at 50 Quid Film Festival where they received a judges commendation for 'Gash', their short guide to winning a BAFTA. The Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival will take place between 27 January and 4 February 2006 and the RONG team will be attending. |
