Gloucestershire locations and Stephen Fry make fairytale fly! Ross Birbeck has just completed the short 'Little Claus and Big Claus', a take on Hans Christian Andersen's mischievous fairytale. Maria Charles, Finetime Fontayne and Christian Rodska feature alongside narrator Stephen Fry. The short used stunning Gloucestershire locations Owlpen Manor, Woodchester Park and Easton Grey and sequences inspired by Andersen's puppetry also provide a quirky edge. The film will have its premiere at the NFT in December and will be trialing new distribution methods with DVDs being sold at every screening. |
