Award-winning director launches new production company in Bristol Bristol filmmaker Hazel Grian, who was once described by Simpsons' creator Matt Groening as a 'funny filmmaking genius', has just launched a new production company in Bristol. The new company, Licorice Film, will specialise in viral movies and all sorts of digital film. Licorice Film will also have a presence at this year's Brief Encounters festival where Hazel has been shortlisted for the Depict! Award for the last 3 years.
