Success for Shufti Films Animated short, 'Four Hobbies', directed by acclaimed animator Nick Mackie has been accepted into both the Edinburgh Film Festival and the Rushes SoHo Shorts Festival. 'Four Hobbies' was originally commissioned as 6 x 1 minute shorts for the BBC Animation Department and BBC 3 with Helen Nabarro as the Executive Producer. Bristol based Shufti Films have also just delivered three new one minute animated shorts to the BBC. one is a new 'Hobbies' featuring a humorous new female character and the other two, 'Cold Calling', are part of a new series of films looking at the nuisance of telephone sales. |
