BBC Television Drama is calling for trainee writers BBC Television Drama is launching a new writers' initiative aimed at training the next generation of writers. The BBC will take on successful applicants on a 12 month contract, which will comprise a 3 month initial training period, which will give them the skills they need to write some of the BBC's most popular series such as Doctors, EastEnders, Holby City and Casualty.
