Steve Friendship's "Coda" is a day in the life of a young man, Adam. Through a series of repeated scenes, looped at a quickening pace as the Short Film progresses, we get an idea of the frustrations the main character faces on a daily basis. "Lucky" by Andy Smith and Victoria Newton is a story of karma versus luck as a man tries to boost his chances of winning the lottery by following old wives tales. "Industrial Love Dwarf Number 7" is the title of a proposed short film by Stephen Scott-Hayward, Alex Kirkland and Matt Smith. This explains a woman's realisation that being in love doesn't last forever, and amazingly, a dwarf with a vacuum cleaner is responsible! "Last Tango in Bristol" is about 2 married men who meet in the docks area of the city. They enjoy a discreet dance in a moment of unrestrained warmth, before parting company to return to their wives. |
