UK Jobs in film - actor required, Cornwall - short film in the Malabar area

Urgent casting call for a short film scheduled to shoot in the Malabar area o­n 16th, 17th and 18th January.

Casting Breakdown.

“Malabar” is a short comedy set o­n a Cornish housing estate. The story centres o­n two friends who find themselves at war with an unlikely foe; three young cub scouts.

We’re URGENTLY looking for a mid to late 20's Male to play the main character Alex. They need to be confident, good with dialogue and based in the Truro area. 

Alex is the eternal loser character, he lives o­n a council estate with his best friend Marcus. He is cashless, jobless and has no real plan for his life. He is also eternally happy and optimistic despite his situation. He is mouthy, cheeky but likable.

The shoot is scheduled for 16th 17th and 18th January. It is entirely exteriors so it weather wise it might be tough at times. Given the nature and content of the script however it will a lot of fun and the finished film will look great for anyone’s showreel.
