'TOR' needs teams

TOR is a new development programme supporting work with young people interested in digital media across the South West of England. Created by Creative Partnerships and South West Screen, TOR is looking for 18 teams made up of a creative professional working with o­ne or two young people, aged between 14 to 21 years old. Teams will work together in equal partnership o­n the programme that will run for six months from November 2006.

Working with a coach whose role is similar to that of a facilitator, teams will develop a project and will be given a fixed bursary to enable them to carry out the activity they devise. Projects could be a short film, a script, audience development, programming skills (i.e. in relation to a film festival), development of critical skills, presentation skills, marketing skills etc.
