The noise festival

The noise festival is the country's first virtual arts festival for young people under 25.

The noise festival will take place throughout Oct 06 - showcasing new talent across a series of media platforms including tv, radio, print and o­nline. This nationwide festival is run out of the northwest having been funded by ACENW, the North West Development Agency (NWDA) and Culture o­nline (DCMS). The BBC has been an important media partner from the outset - other media partners include MSN, MTV, and Blueprint and Digit mags.

Any young person can submit work for inclusion in the festival. The submissions will be curated by top industry professionals such as Peter Saville, Wayne Hemingway, Stella Vine, Eley Kishimoto, Danny Brown, Anthony Wilson and Ras Kwame of Radio 1. Those accepted are featured o­n the noise festival website and the website and its content are strongly promoted by the media partners
