Accidents Can Happen - Series 2

20 x 60' for BBC o­nE. Following the success of the first series, the BBC have commissioned Twofour to make a further twenty o­ne-hour programmes. Presented by Nadia Sawalha, 'Accidents Can Happen' follows what happens when disaster strikes a home - from floods and fires to crashes and explosions. Nadia will be meeting families as they pick up the pieces and navigate the process of re-building their homes.

We are playing a leading role in a major new initiative to boost TV production in the South West. The aim is to:

  • give programme ideas from South West a better chance of success with commissioning
    editors

  • to gain market intelligence of broadcasters in North America

  • share the knowledge gained with other companies in the Southwest

  • to develop new creative talent in the South West through training and
    development

The pilot project, called 4Southwest, is backed by Channel 4, the South West Development Agency and South West Screen.

A key element in this scheme is our open door policy to help local producers to get their programme ideas in front of commissioners. We have the expertise, infrastructure and contacts to give your ideas the best chance of success.
