This is a Filmmaking competition that brings Filmmakers together in o­ne place to make a film in just 24 hours.

24 Hour Film will put everyone o­n a level playing field, using affordable equipment, which will see professionals going head to head with amateur filmmakers. You will be awarded for creativeness and skill rather than budget and how expensive your equipment is...which could see Industry 'Nobodys' beating the experts.

Please Note: o­nce the limit of 40 teams has been reached entry will be refused, so get your entry forms in early to avoid dissapointment. 

Outline

Teams will meet at location in Truro Cornwall and will have 24 Hours to write, produce and edit a finished production no longer than 7 minutes, using the guidelines set out by the organizer.

Contestants will be given a line of script, film title and a film genre. All of this must be included into the film to prove it was made for the competition.

Entrants from Schools and Colleges all over Cornwall and the UK are encouraged in order to boost and develop up and coming talent.

Prizes/Awards

Thousands of pounds worth of prizes are already secured, which will award all aspects of the production with awards for:

• Best film
• Best student film
• Best script
• Best actor/actress
• Best cameraman

The final night award ceremony will include other local talent with live bands, providing the entertainment and build up to the awards ceremony.
