South West Screen - funding for new approaches to creative production

New approaches to creative production

South West Screen is looking to support new and innovative approaches to creative production linked with exhibition or distribution plans. We are looking for projects which challenge traditional ways of developing content or which explore experimental approaches to production. Funding can be used for new or existing work but projects must have a clear path to exhibition or distribution. Examples of the types of projects we are looking to support include:

  • short film projects which challenge conventional narrative storytelling in a strong and compelling visual way and are distributed innovatively i.e. via pod casting, peer to peer online etc;
  • development projects which explore new distribution platforms with specially designed content; cross artform bringing together a diverse range of partners to tell a story.

Under RIFE lottery funding we have a total of £12,000 to allocate to a maximum of four organisations.

Information and application packs are available from our website www.swscreen.co.uk or email, emma.blackburn@swscreen.co.uk.

The deadline for the stage one application is 12 noon on 18 January 2006.
