BT Schools awards

  • The BT Schools Awards reward schools that can demonstrate their commitment
    to BT’s mission: To help everyone in the UK understand and enjoy the benefits of improved interpersonal communication skills.

    Your schools will need to demonstrate the following:
  • Do you understand and endorse the principles of constructive dialogue?
  • Are you committed to helping those around you have better conversations?
  • Do you endeavour to make the most of every discussion, whatever your role in it?
  • Do you want to actively seek opportunities to promote the importance of speaking and listening within your school and outside it?

Applications will be judged o­n the following:

  • Speaking and Listening in the Classroom – most important element.
  • Speaking and Listening in your school
  • Speaking and Listening in your community

Up to 200 schools have the chance to win £3,000 worth of benefits.
The scheme has been running for several years, and in the past has made grants for ICT and citizenship projects.
