Betjeman's West CountryTo celebrate the centenary of the birth of the poet John Betjeman, ITV West and Westcountry are to broadcast a series of programmes celebrating both the achievements of the poet and the region he made his home during his later life. ITV West and Westcountry are inviting tenders from independent production companies based in the two regions to produce the seven part series, which will be broadcast on Sundays between 16 July and 17 August 2006.
