Lead required for short road movie - Exeter

Seeking actor (female or male), 25- 35 yrs old with full driver's licence (clean), English-speaking plus o­ne other language

...for the lead role in a short film/road movie (10-15mins) based o­n the Irish legend of the Land of Youth, where a young wo/man returns home after many years spent abroad and finds it all completely changed. The alienation s/he experiences is overwhelming, and raises interesting questions regarding her/his identity, memory and 'home'.

Will be shot o­n location in either Devon/Cornwall or west of Ireland, or both, and actor should be comfortable with being in character while driving!

Board and travelling expenses covered.

Some previous acting experiences in film would be advantageous.

This film is a major part of my MA in European Film Studies, for which I have already collaborated (co-director, hair and make-up artist) with fellow course members o­n an 8 mins film. It will be shot o­n digital camera, and will be put forward for short film festivals, depending o­n results.
