Deco was formed in 1990 by Colin Rogers, a film and tv drama producer, director and writer with an extensive record of high-quality, award-winning film drama production, almost all of which has been co-produced and sold internationally. Colin has combined his role as Managing Director and Producer for Deco with a succession of other senior management posts in the industry. Since 1986, he has been Deputy Head of Drama Series & Serials for BBC TV, Controller of Drama for Meridian Broadcasting (of which he was a founding executive), founding Director of Cornwall Film (Cornwall Film Fund and, from May 2003 until January 2005, Director, India for the BBC World Service Trust. He is a member of the Board of Media Centre for Cornwall and the Cornwall Film Festival.
Deco continues to develop its own tv and cinema projects but also welcomes opportunities to work with and advise fellow producers and writers.
