A hands-on course for researchers, associate producers and new television journalists wishing to learn practical skills in shooting with the Sony DSR 570 and PD150 is being offered by Bill Curtis Associates. In addition to basic picture and sound operation skills the course covers aperture, gain and f-stops, angles of view, back-focus, macro, focal length and zoom ratio and provides a valuable insight into composition, control of perspective and depth of field.
