Television and Young People (TVYP) is the educational arm of the Media Guardian Edinburgh International Television Festival and is the UK's leading forum for young people aspiring to work in television.

If you are aged 18 - 21 and have a passion to work in the television industry, you could be o­ne of the 150 delegates selected to attend five days of masterclasses, workshops, career surgeries and social events. Other than your travel to and from Edinburgh, all expenses are covered by TVYP.

One Day Events

TVYP o­ne-day events are held around the country and give you a taste of the different jobs that are available to you in the television industry.

Working alongside television industry professionals you will sample key skills in television including:

• Scriptwriting
• Producing
• Directing
• Researching
• Presenting

The days are FREE to attend but places are limited.
