Making it big in Shorts
Short Film WorkshopMarch 5th - 6th 2005 Central BristolEver thought you might be the next big thing in movies? Most top directors, producers & screenwriters start off by making ‘shorts’
– films that show people in the industry who they are and what they
can do. Want to know how to get your short film started, finished and seen? How to
use it to get an agent, or break into ‘features’? Then this is the workshop for you. On 5 – 6th March 2005 international screenwriting teacher Simon van
der Borgh will be in Bristol leading an interactive workshop on writing, making
and marketing a short film. Over the 2 days participants will: - Watch & analyse several ‘shorts’
- Learn practical tools & skills to improve their scriptwriting
- Find out the essentials of directing, producing & editing
- Discover how to use their short film to get into features
There will also be Q&A sessions, panel discussions with industry guests,
a chance to network, and a practical screenwriting exercise. For more information email Workshop fee: £200 inc. VAT To see Simon van der Borgh’s resume go to: click
