Most top directors, producers and screenwriters start off by making short films, and they are a fantastic way to show who you are and what you can do.

If you want to know how to follow your short film through, from start to finish, there is a taylor-made workshop in central Bristol in early March which could be just what you need.

It runs o­n 5 and 6 March with international screenwriting teacher Simon Van Der Borgh sharing his expertise in writing, making and marketing a short film.

The course costs £200 including VAT.
