BBC New Music Shorts

BBC Film Network and BBC Electric Proms are challenging filmmakers to make new films inspired by new music tracks. Filmmakers are asked to submit creative ideas for films that either use or are inspired by tracks provided by 679 Recordings, Domino Records, Ninja Tune and Warp Records. This could be anything from a music promo, moving visual images, a short drama or even a documentary.

Up to six new film makers will win a commission and a budget of up to £5,000 to create their films and the winning films will be premiered at the BBC Electric Proms and showcased o­nline at BBC Film Network where they'll gain exposure to industry professionals.
