Short film exhibition in April 2006 - Call for entries
We are inviting all student and amateur film makers to enter your short films for consideration for exhibition in a short film event in April 2006.
The venue is at The Picturehouse in Exeter, Devon. Our aim is to find the best films from across the country and to present them to the public and fellow film makers at this event.
We propose to find ten short films that last approximately ten minutes each. There will be an award for the best film on the night from both media professionals and also the audience. This is a great opportunity for new film makers to get their films on the silver screen and of course gain recognition for your talent.
Please fill in the application form and read the terms and conditions attached and send the film to us before the deadline. If however you have any queries then please feel free to contact us by email in the meantime at tamsinbinks@hotmail.com
The event itself is a collaborative venture between The Exeter Picturehouse and Tamsin Binks ands Jonathan Merriott. We are 3rd year media arts students at the university of Plymouth. We hope that this will give fellow student film gives more opportunity to share their work with the outside world and also the incentive to make films that follow your own brief rather than one set by your course constraints.
We really look forward to all applications and all films will be considered. Good luck with your films and I know that there are many talented people out there so now is your time to be seen and heard.
