Ornette Spenceley career started when signed up to The National Film and Television school in 1998 as a producer. His graduation short RUNT had film festivals falling over themselves to screen it. He then went on to work with Danish features producer Michael Obel. In 2004 he directed his first short film LARD. (With his son Jake as the lead role). It became an instant hit and was picked up for the London and Berlin Film Festivals among others.
He currently is preparing to shoot Tight Greens Tall Yellows his second short at the end
of 2005 before developing his feature.
