The South West Screen training bursary - next deadline is 29 June
The South West Screen training bursary aims to provide financial support towards the professional development of the region's freelance workforce. Individual freelancers based in the South West who are actively working in the film, TV and/or digital content production industries are eligible to apply for bursaries to help them meet the costs of training.

Pulse:Youth Arts inspired by biomedical science
Pulse is a Wellcome Trust funding initiative to support arts projects across the UK that engage young people with the complex, emotive issues arising from biomedical science. Pulse will fund projects working in the performing arts, visual arts, craft, photography, film, creative writing and new media. Projects can be developed by, for, or with young people. Applications should come from a groups of organisations working in education, science or the arts. The scheme has 2 levels of funding: grants for R and D or small-scale production up to £10,000 and grants for production or larger scale projects up to £50,000. Pulse has 2 deadlines in 2005: 11 March 2005 and 7 October 2005.
