CLUB FLIX -Young Peoples Film Club: Launch of brand new website.

Club Flix has launched an exciting new website; www.clubflix.co.uk creating a way to link-up young film makers in the South West. Club Flix is a Bath based film club for 15 -21 year olds offering making, watching and writing opportunities for new film makers. Members in Bath have been busy developing the new website with a professional designer and have created specific o­nline areas focusing o­n making films, writing films, watching films and talking films!

Film Education along with Tartan Films are pleased to bring you an o­nline educational resource for Mirrormask. The resource looks at how the creation of the film has been influenced by graphic novels, art and sculpture, and includes the following:

U-Carmen eKhayelitsha...

Look out for an o­nline resource for the forthcoming U-Carmen eKhayelitsha which will be available soon for teachers of GCSE and A Level Citizenship, Film and Media Studies and Music.  U-Carmen eKhayelitsha is an award-winning (Berlin Film Festival 2005 - Golden Bear) adaptation of Bizet's classic Carmen that relocates the love story to the South African township of Khayelitsha, and is sung and spoken in Xhosa, o­ne of South Africa's 11 official languages.
