CSV media - Free Training Courses
CSV Media- part of the national charity CSV- are offering training designed to help individuals, businesses and the voluntary sector in Cornwall.
CSV’s media training is aimed at all those within organisations who talk to the press or who take part in radio or TV interviews. The courses also contain useful skills for other interview situations such as job and university applications.
Participants in the 3 and 6 day courses will have the chance to take part in mock interviews using a radio MiniDisc recorder and our virtual studio!
On our press and public relations course participants will gain practical skills in writing press releases and targeting them to stand the best chance of getting media coverage. Included in the course is advice on how to 'sell' a story to journalists and what attracts their attention.
We also offer 6 day courses in web design learn how to create and maintain a website using HTML and Dreamweaver
Our tutors are experts in their field and are drawn from industry, the BBC and commercial radio.
