Producers and filmmakers present at the Open Training Session (OTS) decide about the Discovery Campus Award for the best Slot Pitch.
Commissioning editors will give an insight into decision making processes inside their station. What are they looking for? How long does it take to make a commitment for a programme and why? How much risk can they take? And what are their limitations?
Are the programme schedulers the real decision makers inside the system? Does the weal and woe of a slot lie in their hands? Schedulers from public and private broadcasters will reveal some of their secrets.
