Wherever your inspiration may lead, Somerset Film and Video are here to help. We are a registered charity who for the past seven years have been dedicated to inspiring encouraging and supporting moving image projects in Somerset.

Since March of 2003 our activities have been based at the Engine Room, our new media centre in Bridgwater. It is a dedicated facility for moving image work - a place to try out your ideas, to meet other media makers and to learn new skills. Whatever your age and ability, the Engine Room is here for you to explore and enjoy.

If a journey to Bridgwater is not possible or practical, the Engine Room offers resources for the whole of Somerset. We run workshops, screenings and outreach programmes in towns and villages across the country to bring the exciting possibilities of media production and exhibition right to your doorstep.
