The Works; Dance & Theatre Cornwall is leading a creative dance and film project bringing together Kwesi Johnson of Kompany Malakhi, five secondary schools and Cornwall Youth Dance Company. Kwesi Johnson will be working with performance groups from each of the five secondary schools and CYDC in a residency between September and November to create a composite performance work by the young people. Tom Harding and media students from some of the schools have also been hard at work creating film based on the residency to accompany the performance. The performance will end with Kwesi Johnson's new solo work "single reflex". | |
