The 14th amendment to the US constitution, originally intended to safeguard the rights of freed slaves, was cynically exploited by commercial lawyers to give corporations the same rights as individuals. This sprawling indictment of the pernicious abuses of global (read American) capitalism chills and outrages through its adroit use of archive material, voice-overs, computer graphics and interviews. Powerful, punchy polemic and a fine example of people power – this was PFS’s members choice for the new season! Don’t miss it!

“Riveting. Impassioned stuff. See it” Evening Standard
